Smoked Cauliflower

Season Water

  • 0.5cSalt

Season Cauliflower

  • 0.25cOlive Oil
  • 3tbspLemon Pepper Seasoning

Steps

Preheat smoker and set to around 400 degrees.

Prep Smoker15 mins.

    In a large pot bring half a gallon of water to a boil and add salt.

    Boil Water15 mins.

    Trim the green stems and leaves from the base of the cauliflower. Add to the pot of boiling seasoned water. Cook the cauliflower for 3 minutes and then flip and cook an additional 2 minutes before removing from the water. Use a large straining spoon or dump into strainer and let drain for a few minutes.

    Clean & Boil Cauliflower5 mins.

      In the strainer, season the cauliflower top and bottom with olive oil and lemon pepper seasoning.

      Place seasoned cauliflower on the smoker and let cook for 45 - 60 mins depending on preference of doneness.

      Add to Smoker60 mins.

        Once cooked, removed the cauliflower from the smoker and let cool for 5 minutes. Once rested squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and slice into steaks or florets to serve.

        Remove and Rest10 mins.
